you know

I don’t really care about the niceties on life. The typical things like having that prestigious job that pays 6 to 7 figures. Being extremely popular. Having the hottest girlfriend. Superficial things that most almost every person wants.

These aren’t the things that are what’s of most worth to me.

What I care about more are the quality of relationships, the quality of happiness you garner from the people around you. The quality of life you enjoy, exploring the created world, which is a gift, that is free.

The memories which are created, and can be cherished forever. The people you meet, the opportunity to see just how diverse and expansive the world is.

I care about working hard, always keeping the utmost integrity. Although these things do need considerable work. I strive and know that I will get there.

About enjoying what you do. And the internal rewards that you reap from within. The goodness you feel once you are able to, and do, help out others in need. The happiness I enjoy when I am around my loved ones. When you know your close friends are there for you through thick and thin. The feeling of knowing you are loved so much.

I know the superficial things in life are nice to have. Yet dissatisfaction of not having it does not have to make you feel down. The simplicities in life are what satisfies us.

I hope through this outlook, I can continue to work hard for those around me as well as myself. To continue to better myself and not be daunted by pitfalls along the way. To not work to attain something which is superficial, but something intangible, and of eternal value.
