sf
met up with derek, melanie, and collin today. a.i.d. reunion minus daniel and peg and whoever else haha. but damn it’s been 2 years(?) since i’ve seen derek, and haven’t seen mel since before i left for hk, same for collin. but yea wow time flies and it’s cool to see how people change and how much they’ve done since the last time you’ve met. chilled on BART and recounted good a.i.d. memories. had lunch at a “california cuisine” called Park Chow, they had some good milkshakes and fusilli. got some ice cream at Shaws, then collin drove us up to twin peaks to get the view of sf. it was grand. so funny that all of them want to work there in the future. it’s quite nice, no place like it. doesn’t have the bustle and crazy finance cutthroatness of nyc, but still has the opportunities. weather was nice today, but maybe credit that to global warming since it’s usually supposed to be pretty cold in sf at this time of year. but it was nice. headed back around 4 and said our goodbyes once we reached fremont. had a chat about relationships haha. then had dinner at home and watched margin call with the fam. thinking twice about trying to get into wall street? we’ll see where life takes me
